Glimpse of Home
- Acrylic on Canvas
- 62.5cm Square
- Deep Framed in Tasmanian Oak
This piece is the memory of a feeling. That feeling of complete relaxation and peace knowing you are approaching home. The place where you are accepted, understood and at times celebrated for the person that you were...'warts and all'
A glimpse of home is a reminiscent view of going home to my parents farmlet when they had retired - it actually looked nothing like this (but that is what memories and being an intuitive artist does) but I remember coming around a bend in the road and I could finally get a glimpse of home, nestled under the trees, and the peace that spread through my body at the sight.
