Soul Mates

Original Acrylic on canvas, framed in Tasmanian Oak.

22cm square x 3cm deep

Ok, Ok, so I was feeling particularly philosophical and soppy when I painted this piece. All that was running through my head….on repeat… was the song from Les Miserable -

And you will keep me safe,

And you will keep me warm

And rain will make the flowers grow.

The love of a soul mate is this, a place to rest, a place to grow and a place to simply be….all of course represented by the most fragile but resiliant of flowers, the wildflower.
